Hey, it's Kaz and the girls and it is getting super close to filming! Super Excited!


Props: 
Props in our horror opening sequence will include items such as 
blood, possibly a fake weapon for the last scene , and our phones for filming and for Jenna's "YouTube video." We might also use a selfie stick for Jenna's "vlog" just to enhance the experience of Jenna filming herself.

Costumes: 

For our costumes, we will just be wearing normal clothing teenagers wear. Since we play teenagers in the opening sequence there won't be any extravagant costumes. The girls will wear either short or leggings and a top and the boys will wear whatever casual outfit they want (pants, jeans, shorts, a shirt)


Schedules: 

2/19/23- The group has researched the different conventions in the horror genre and in horror movie opening sequences in order to figure out how to build our opening sequence.

2/28/23-The group figured out the props, costumes, schedules, location list and backup plan.

3/4/23- The group will build and draw the storyboard in order to have a firm idea to film

3/22/23 (TBD) - The group will film and record all the scenes 

4/3/23 (TBD) - The group will edit, cut and perfect opening sequence


Location List: 

Abandoned location in Hollywood near Young Circle 

Backup Plan: 

If it gets too dark to film or we cannot make it to the designated location, we will film at an abandoned looking place near Sofia or Savannah's house; either Hollywood or Ft. Lauderdale. We will can go to the beach place on fort lauderdale beach in the worst case.

 Hey everyone!!! Here again and ready to talk about my group. So I’m sad to announce that Kazmin and the girls, my old group, is disbanded. I have Jenna and Kazmin in my class so part of the group could be reunited but fortunately we have two new members!! My dear friends Carleigh and Natalia are the new additions to the group. So now it will be all girls which means more girl power. A little bit about them is that they are both great friends. Carleigh is a tennis queen that is always by your side for anything. She’s so pretty and looks like a model because of her unique hair. It’s a strawberry blonde and her queen eyes compliment it very nicely. Her work ethic is very strong as she always has straight As. Natalia is also very helpful and maintains good grades. She is a little on the sassy side but she will make sure we get all out work done efficiently and quickly. What's upppp. So Kazmin and the girls filmed the whole commercial on Saturday, October 8th, 2022. I will explain the process and what I did. Firstly, all the group members met in my community and went to the gym. Jenna, Kazmin, and I were all wearing athletic clothing and I brought a colorful shirt to change into when the commercial is in Kazmin's dance world. Savannah and Kazmin both brought two pairs of AirPods and their phones to turn the music on and off and film the commercial. At my community clubhouse, where the gym is located, the group practiced the dance scene and choreographed it near the pool. Although Jenna and Kazmin are a lot more coordinated than I am, I got the dance down. It was my idea to practice outside of the gym first so the scene would be swiftly executed. Then when the group was ready, the filming began. Savanah filmed the whole commercial and Kazmin, Jenna, and I was the people in the commercial.
